WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE TMSA?
- All managements who produce live entertainment on a professional basis.
- All who put on shows professionally.
- All Venue Owners and Managers, Industry Service Providers, Live Entertainment Production Houses, Academic and Training Institutions.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN THE TMSA?
- To strengthen the only Employer’s Body dedicated to representing Theatre Producers and Managements in all negotiating forums relating to terms of employment.
- To make sure my voice is heard in all policy-making negotiations and theatre matters.
- To enjoy professional guidance in the implementation of the Standard Terms of Employment for the Theatre
- To have a vote at all general meetings of the TMSA, and thereby to influence it’s policies and decisions.
- To enjoy benefits, such as reduced price tickets for members’ productions, invitation to the Naledi Theatre Awards and other privileges arranged by TMSA from time to time for members.
- To be kept informed of opening nights, upcoming events, festivals, seminars, meetings, and conferences affecting the Theatre.
- To have the right to announce my membership by the display of the TMSA logo on letterheads, cards and brochures, in foyers, and on the TMSA web page.
- To be entitled to free advice on contracts, budgeting, the acquisition of rights, royalty payments, administrative, technical and fund raising matters.
- To enjoy the recognition of co-members and peers as being a fully fledged, accredited, professional management.
- To interact regularly with other managements at regular meetings and through minutes and reports.
